Movement Coaching is a process that helps you learn to improve your posture and the quality of your physical functioning based on your challenges, needs and goals.
I will show you, in very simple and practical manners, how you can make specific targeted changes or learn safe, effective movement patters that will improve the way in which your entire body functions.
The sessions will include, when appropriate, postural and mobility assessment, movement education, mobility work as well as individualized fitness training.
When appropriate, I will work with the recommendations from your massage therapist, osteopath, physiotherapist or physician, to ensure seamless improvements in your physical abilities.

It is not a “cure” for conditions such as back pain, repetitive strain injury and the like, but it does address posture and movement patterns that may contribute to these conditions. The results of the training sessions will depend on your current movement patterning, health etc. as well as how dedicated you are to improving your physical fitness
Yoga Tune Up®
Yoga Tune Up® is a fitness therapy format built around the three P’s – Pain, Posture and Performance. It helps eradicate pain, improve posture and enhance performance through a unique blend of Corrective Exercise, Self Massage and Yoga. By helping to identify and target your “body blind spots”; areas that are most overused, underused, or misused, YTU heals damaged muscle, increases strength and establishes healthy movement patterns to help you live better in your body.

I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. I look to help you develop a greater self awareness of your thoughts, emotions and actions and their influence on your well being.
We will work together to look at the big picture of your life to determine the best strategies to help you make great decisions, develop unyielding self confidence, re-ignite your creativity, attract the right people and build solid relationships. We can work to shed grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, stress and fears or surf life changes gracefully. You will become more resourceful in how you deal with present and future situations.
We will look at a balanced approach to incorporating healthy choices for proper nutrition, activity and self-care that are specific to your needs. We will focus on improving vitality and energy, feeling good in your body, managing stress, overcoming burn-out and/or keeping depression at bay.

Your coaching session may be conducted at a location that is convenient to you, at my office or via Skype or phone. Sessions will include one or a combination of the following modalities depending on your specific needs:
- Strategic Intervention Life/wellness coaching
- TraumaPractik® methodology based on the anatomy of trauma
- Movement/exercise coaching, therapy or Yoga Tune Up®
- Yoga and meditation – private or group lessons
- Reiki, Bars or EFT energy healing
